MAGPIES ACE WAS ITCHING TO BE INVOLVED AGAIN
MOST of the Notts County players will be resting or starting to get prepared for pre-season but Jodi Jones has been on international duty with Malta.
The Magpies winger started and managed 81 minutes on Saturday as Malta drew 0-0 with Lithuania at home in their third 2026 World Cup qualifier, picking up what was their first point of the qualifying campaign.
They now prepare to face a tough test against the 2024 Euros semi-finalists, the Netherlands, tonight, having lost their other two qualifying games so far against Finland and Poland in March.
Having made his international debut in 2022, Jones has been capped 13 times by his country to this point.
A couple of years ago, he played against England home and away at Wembley in European Championship qualifiers.
