ENGLAND BOSS TUCHEL SAYS FOREST ACE IS FOCUSED ON WORLD CUP AFTER SECOND £100M+ BID IS REJECTED

- By SARAH CLAPSON

NOTTINGHAM Forest ace Elliot Anderson has shown no signs of being affected by speculation about his future, according to England boss Thomas Tuchel.

Manchester City have had two bids for the midfielder rebuffed as the Reds hold firm in their valuation of their star man. But Tuchel believes if anything the talk of a huge price tag being placed on his head is pushing Anderson on as he prepares for the World Cup.

City's most recent offer was lodged this week and was worth more than £120 million, made up of £105m up front and £15m in potential add-ons. It fell short of what Forest would be looking for as an initial payment for a player Tuchel describes as "the full package".
