Gym's future uncertain as unit appears to be empty

IT WAS DUE TO OPEN LAST SUMMER
MYSTERY surrounds the future of a UFC Gym - expected to have opened at a city retail park last summer - after new photos appear to show it empty inside.
The last remnants of gym branding and equipment, including kettlebells and benches, appear to have been removed from of the site at Castle Marina Retail Park.
Shutters remain pulled down and windows are painted in black at the unit, next to B&M, almost a year after its expected opening date.
The gym's relocation to the retail park in Castle Bridge Road follows the closure of its Huntingdon Street branch in November 2023.
