GP's Egyptian treasures should fetch a pharaoh sum

A FASCINATING and unusual artefact dating back over 2,600 years to the time of the pharaohs in ancient Egypt is going under the hammer in Nottingham.

It was one of many items discovered following the death of an Arnold GP.
When Arthur Johnson Auctioneers, in the Cattle Market, Meadow Lane, was appointed to sell the estate they discovered some highly interesting artefacts, including the “stunning” carved head found in a tomb close to a pyramid.
