Forest youngster Powell heads out on loan deal

HIGHLY-RATED Nottingham Forest prospect Josh Powell has joined Colchester United on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old fullback has impressed for Forest's Under-21s in Premier League 2 and featured for the seniors in preseason.

Now he has the chance to show what he can do in League Two and he told Colchester's website: "I'm really excited.

"When I first heard about the opportunity to come here, it was something I was definitely interested in.
