Forest could be weighing up move for Delap in window

IN-DEMAND striker Liam Delap is said to be on Nottingham Forest’s radar as they look to strengthen their attacking ranks this summer.

It is set to be an important window at the City Ground as the Reds aim to put together a squad capable of pushing on again under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo. Incomings and outgoings are on the cards, with bolstering their options up front a top priority for the club.

Delap has many admirers after an impressive season in the Premier League, despite Ipswich Town's relegation. He reportedly had a £40m release clause in his contract but that is said to have been reduced by £10m following the Tractor Boys’ failure to secure survival.
