Festive challenge is one to relish for Scott at Magpies

SCOTT Robertson said Notts County are ready for a tough run of festive fixtures which will be a true test of their League Two promotion credentials.

To close out 2025, the Magpies have home and away games against MK Dons, as well as trips to Grimsby Town and local rivals Chesterfield, with a home game against Walsall inbetween.

All those teams are tipped by most to be top seven contenders at the very least come the end of the campaign and while their current League positions have them spread out across the top half, it is still very tightly packed in terms of points.

The Magpies are in that mix, too, but this could be a defining December in terms of performances and results against these opponents.
