NOTTINGHAM Forest’s mini winning streak was brought to an end in London last night as they fell to a 1-0 defeat away to Fulham in the Premier League.

A Raul Jimenez penalty proved to be the difference between the two sides. It will be of some frustration to the visitors that a mistake on the stroke of the interval proved to be costly.

Almost two months to the day since Sean Dyche’s appointment as head coach, the Reds travelled south aiming to continue their revival under the 54-year-old. Their 3-0 toppling of Tottenham Hotspur had moved them five points clear of the relegation zone and they had the opportunity to increase that gap in their final outing before Christmas.
