ROBBER HAD STOLEN PENSIONER'S BAG FROM CHURCH AS SHE PRAYED
Onlookers directed the officer towards the robber after he targeted an elderly woman in a church
A VIOLENT robber was chased down after he entered a church and stole an elderly woman’s handbag while she was praying.
The incident happened just after 5pm on September 24 at The Cathedral Church of St Barnabas in Derby Road, Nottingham city centre.
PC Jamie Martin had been driving his marked police car along Derby Road when he saw the victim, aged 75, flagging him down.
