Women to cycle length of country for local charity

EIGHT women are cycling nearly 1,000 miles across the country to raise money for local charity Families in Grief.

Two years ago, Westward Ho! resident Louise Harris smashed the world record for cycling from Land's End to John o' Groats and back, completing the challenge in just over 10 days and shaving 32 hours off the previous record. Not only that, but she also raised more than £20,000 for charity.

Now, she has inspired eight friends to follow in her footsteps.
