Familiar faces of pub trade pledge venue new lease of life

THE White Lion pub in Braunton has new tenants after its previous owners bid farewell.

Mark and Laura Jephcott are also owners of other pubs across Devon including the Agricultural Inn in Braunton, Cowick Barton in Exeter, and The Fountain Inn in Okehampton.

They say they are thrilled to be adding The White Lion to their list and giving it a new lease of life.

Mr Jephcott said: “We're thrilled to be taking on The White Lion and can't wait to welcome everyone through the doors. Our aim is to bring this much-loved pub back to life with a freshen up - nothing too radical, just enough to give the place a new lease of life while keeping its traditional charm.”
