Renovated Ispat Club in Sector-4 Inaugurated by Bhilai Steel Plant

The newly renovated Ispat Club at Sector-4, Bhilai, was inaugurated by Shri Pawan Kumar, ED (HR), on April 22, 2025. The event was organised by the Town Administration & Services Department of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant. Shri Utpal Dutta, CGM (TSD & CSR), presided over the programme. Shri Sandeep Mathur, CGM (HR), Shri Vishnu K. Pathak, GM (TSD), and Shri Nand Kishore Sahu, President (Ispat Club, Sector-4) were present as special guests. Shri D.C. Singh, DGM (Water Supply), Shri Ranveer Singh, DGM (Electrical), Shri Rajeev Kumar, DGM (ED HR Secretariat), Shri Saroj Jha, AGM (TSD-Civil), and Shri Ravi Singh, Executive President (Ispat Club, Sector-4), along with other senior officers and personnel, were also present on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pawan Kumar appreciated the efforts of all departments involved in the timely completion of the renovation work and extended his congratulations on handing over the refurbished facility. He emphasised that while BSP consistently focuses on boosting steel production, the welfare and convenience of its employees remain equally important. Highlighting the significance of social responsibility beyond the Plant premises, he underlined the need and utility of a well-equipped community facility such as the renovated Ispat Club. He urged for regular upkeep of the club and encouraged judicious use of its amenities.
