Warren Buffett remembered Charlie Munger as the "architect" of Berkshire Hathaway in his annual letter to shareholders Saturday.
Munger, Buffett's longtime friend and partner, died Nov. 28 at age 99. Buffett has credited Munger, who was vice chairman of Berkshire, with shaping hist thinking about investing.
"Berkshire has become a great company. Though I have long been in charge of the construction crew, Charlie should forever be credited with being the architect," Buffett said in a tribute to Munger that prefaced his formal letter to shareholders.
The title "Charlie Munger-The Architect of Berkshire Hathaway," typed in an ornate font, topped the tribute page..
