Patanjali Foods Q4 profit rises 74%

Patanjali Foods reported a 73.8% increase in quarterly profit on Thursday, becoming the latest packaged edible oil manufacturer to outperform the broader consumer goods sector due to product price increases.

The Sunrich edible oil maker's profit after tax rose to ₹359 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31 March, from ₹206 crore a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing.
