While the global slump hurt hiring for the 2024 batch, the next batch saw these sectors pick up the slack.Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey &Co. and Accenture are some of the consultants, along with investment firms General Atlantic and Temasek Holdings, that are expected to pick up students aggressively.

Prabhav Kashyap, a partner at Bain, said India continues to be a priority for the company, and it will continue investing in talent to support growth. “We are confident in the high level of talent emerging from these institutions (IIMs), and see them as integral to building strong, future-ready teams across our business,” Kashyap said.
