Foxconn pulls China staff from India plants

Electronics manufacturer Foxconn said hundreds of Chinese engineers and technicians will return home from its iPhone plants in India, in what may be a major hurdle for Apple’s push to make more of its marquee product here.

The majority of Foxconn’s Chinese staff at iPhone plants were told to fly back beginning about two months ago, Bloomberg said, citing people in the know. Over 300 Chinese staff have left, and mostly support staff from Taiwan remain in India, one of the people said.
