PUNE: Pune Police, investigating the Porsche car crash case, revealed on Monday that the blood samples of the juvenile driver were discarded and replaced with another person's samples, showing no traces of alcohol. As a result, two doctors from the state-run Sassoon General Hospital have been arrested.

Additionally, another individual with alleged links to Dr Ajay Taware, head of the Sassoon Hospital's Forensic Medicine department, and Dr Shrihari Halnor, the chief medical officer, was also arrested.

"The juvenile's father had called the doctor and offered him allurements to replace the blood samples," Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar revealed at a press conference on Monday.

Due to the replacement of the juvenile's blood samples, the report received on Sunday from the hospital indicated no alcohol presence, Kumar stated.

Two IT professionals were killed when their motorcycle was struck by a speeding Porsche allegedly driven by the minor in the early hours of May 19 in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. Police allege the teenager was intoxicated at the time.

In a related development, a court permitted the police to take custody of Vishal Agarwal, the father of the 17-yearold, from Yerwada Central Jail concerning the kidnapping and wrongful confinement of his driver.
