IIRSI opens its Annual Conference IIRSI 2025, drawing over 700 delegates from 25+ countries

The Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society of India (IIRSI) opened its flagship Annual Conference—IIRSI 2025—at the Yashobhoomi International Convention Centre (YICC), Dwarka, drawing more than 700 delegates from over 25 countries.

The strong turn out underscores India’s rising prominence as a global centre for innovation in cataract, refractive, corneal and implant surgery.
‘The two-day event, themed “Hindsight. Insight. Foresight”, was inaugurated by Cabinet Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, who commended IIRSI for its sustained efforts to elevate ophthalmic standards nationwide.
The conference features over 700 speakers, senior surgeons, early-career ophthalmologists, fellows, researchers and industry leaders, making it one of the largest scientific gatherings in Indian ophthalmology this year.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Singh said the strong participation reflects India’s leadership in eye care and the profession's commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and patient outcomes.
