Las Piñas General Hospital & Satellite Trauma Center Enhancing Health Services in Las Piñas

Alongside the opening of a new access road to the 35-bed COVID hospital, walking distance from Las Piñas general hospital. These developments mark a significant enhancement of healthcare services in the city.
The newly completed 12-storey building expands the hospital's capacity from 200 to 500 beds.
The LPGH&STC expansion is a result of Republic Act No. 11497, which was championed by Deputy Speaker Camille Villar in the House of Representatives and Senator Cynthia Villar in the Senate.
The law not only increases the hospital's bed capacity but also upgrades its healthcare services and boosts its workforce, including doctors, nurses, and support staff. Senator Villar emphasized that the expansion would not only benefit Las Piñas residents but also patients from southern Metro Manila and nearby cities and municipalities in Cavite.
"This hospital has a rich history spanning 48 years. It has undergone various transformations, all aimed to better serve the people," Villar said.
