Valenzuela LGU distributes 41 EVs to police, gov't offices

The Valenzuela City government took a major step toward sustainable urban mobility on Friday, April 25, with the official turnover of 41 electric vehicles (EVs) for use in police operations and various local government offices.
The distribution ceremony, held at the ALERT Center, was led by Mayor Weslie “WES” Gatchalian, alongside Senator Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla, and former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto.
According to the City Public Information Office (PIO), 35 of the five-seater EVs were turned over to the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS), while six units were allocated to other city government offices.
