Pinoy seafarer in Gulf of Aden missile attack dies

One of the 12 Filipino crew members of the Dutch flagged cargo vessel Minervagracht succumbed to serious injuries he suffered following the September 29 missile attack on the vessel in the Gulf of Aden, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac confirmed the report in his post on X (formerly Twitter).
"We convey the sad news of the passing of the Fil seafarer critically injured during the Sept 29 attack on the MV Minervagracht in the Gulf of Aden. Our deepest sympathies to his family," Cacdac said,
