Another good government initiative related to this is that we can now finally use the Dalian trains the previous administration bought ten years ago.

After more than a decade in storage, the Dalian trains bought from China in 2014 are now ready for service, President Marcos announced. The trains were made in Dalian, China, and were deemed "incompatible" with the rail conditions during the time—they were too heavy for the railroad tracks. The Marcos government negotiated with the train company, which fixed the problem at no additional cost to the Philippines.
