Vice President Sara Duterte wished that her father is “happy and proud” of his children.

Guiding force

Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos paid tribute to his father, describing him as not only a guiding force for the country but also a mentor and source of strength for his family.

"Thank you so much for everything that you do for the family, for everything that you do for us-your constant guidance. It's an honor for me to learn from you on a daily basis," he said.

He also thanked President Marcos for remaining "resolute in the face of adversity," "I couldn't ask for a better dad.

I couldn't ask for a better mentor.

And I couldn't ask for anyone better than you to work with," he said.

"Thank you for all the sound advice that you give me, which I really really do need from you sometime Love you, Pop!" he added.

The President's middle son, Simon, said: "You're the best possible father I could ever have. And thank you so much for being there couldn't have gone anywhere without you, he said.

"I love you so much. And I hope you are having the best Father's Day possible. Love you to bits," he added.

Vincent "Vinny" Marcos, the youngest of the Marcos boys, described his father as someone who shows love in every possible way.
