Majority of Filipinos say FPRRD should be held liable for drug war killings

A majority of Filipinos agrees that former President Rodrigo Duterte should be held accountable before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the thousands of deaths linked to his administration's anti-illegal drugs campaign, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by Stratbase Consultancy and released on Monday, October 13.
The Third Quarter 2025 SWS National Survey, conducted from September 24 to 30, 2025, found that 50 percent of adult Filipinos agree that Duterte should face accountability before the ICC with 31 percent "strongly agreeing" and 18 percent "somewhat agreeing."
Meanwhile, 32 percent disagreed, with 10 percent "somewhat disagreeing" and 22 percent "strongly disagreeing."
