ICI wants 8 congressmen charged; 1,300 infra projects cornered

The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) on Wednesday, Nov.
26, recommended administrative and criminal charges against eight congressmen who cornered a whopping 1,300 government infrastructure projects.ICI chairman retired Supreme Court associate justice Andres Reyes Jr. said the so-called “cong-tractors” refer to members of Congress or their partners, relatives “who own construction firms that received project award or obtained contracts” from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) from 2016 to 2024.
The names forwarded by the ICI to the Ombudsman for action were:
