First Couple's Christmas wish: to finally have grandchildren
Manila Bulletin
|December 26, 2025
President Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos revealed that their Christmas wish this year is simple and personal: to finally have grandchildren.
In a lighthearted moment from the President’s Christmas vlog posted on his official social media accounts, Marcos shared that the topic has become a familiar refrain at home.
“What we always ask our three sons is, why don’t we have any grandchildren yet?” the President said.
The First Lady quickly chimed in, echoing the sentiment with a smile.
“That’s right, honey. How I wish. That’s my Christmas wish,” she said.
Turning to the camera, as if addressing their sons, Marcos teased them further.
"There's no one you can fool, right?" a giggling President Marcos added.
