CNPF boosts coconut capacity

Po-led Century Pacific Food Inc. (CNPF) is further expanding its coconut processing capacity with a $45-million investment to acquire and upgrade a fully integrated facility in South Cotabato province owned by Roxas and Co. Inc.’s (RCI) subsidiary, Roxas Sigma Agriventures Inc. (RSAI).
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), CNPF said the transaction was executed through its wholly owned subsidiary Coco Harvest Inc. (CHI), marking CNPF’s third coconut processing facility and further strengthening its position in the Philippine coconut industry.
About $45 million will be invested to acquire and upgrade the facility located in Tupi, South Cotabato. The plant currently produces high-value coconut products, including coconut cream, coconut milk, virgin coconut oil (VCO), and coconut water concentrate.
