Bacolod distributes free school supplies after months of delay

The city government has started distributing free school supplies to public elementary pupils after months of delay due to procurement procedures.

Mayor Greg Gasataya led the initial rollout in District 1 on Wednesday, Sept. 17, benefiting 7,000 pupils in six public schools – 1,206 from Andres Bonifacio Elementary School I, 1,543 from Andres Bonifacio Elementary School II, 1,789 from Banago Elementary School I, 1,016 from Banago Elementary School II, 1,366 from Mandalagan Elementary School, and 652 from Abkasa Elementary School.
