Alas Pilipinas faces a stern test when it battles regional powerhouse and host Thailand on the opening day of the 2025 Southeast Asia (SEA) Women’s V.League Leg1in Nakhon Ratchasima Friday, Aug. 1.
Almost four weeks since their last international stint that ended in a fourth-place finish in VIV Cup, the world No. 47 Filipinas strut their wares against the No. 20 and SEA Games perennial champion Thailand at 5 p.m.
This would mark the start of the two-leg event that will eventually move to Ninh Binh, Vietnam on Aug. 8 to 10 for its second part.
