2 minors nabbed for stealing vehicle plates in Tondo

Two minors were apprehended early Monday morning, June 2, for allegedly stealing multiple vehicle plate numbers in Tondo, Manila, while a junkshop helper was also arrested for buying and possessing the stolen items.
According to a report from the Manila Police District (MPD) - Jose Abad Santos Police Station (PS-7), the suspects, identified only by their aliases “BCD” and “DJB,” were caught on CCTV footage systematically removing license plates from vehicles parked near a railroad track along New Antipolo Street in Barangay 217, Zone 20.
Police responded to the incident at around 4:30 a. m and launched a follow-up operation.
