BRUNO: TACTICS MADE FANS TURN ON LIVERPOOL

- By CONNOR O'NEILL

'We always believe in the system'

BRUNO Fernandes believes United's first-half performance at Anfield resulted in Liverpool supporters turning on their side. Harry Maguire's header six minutes from time secured the Reds a huge 2-1 victory.

The win was United's first at Anfield since 2016 and gave head coach Ruben Amorim back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since arriving last November.

Bryan Mbeumo fired his side ahead after just 63 seconds before Cody Gakpo restored parity 12 minutes from time.

However, United were excellent during the first-half and had numerous opportunities to double their lead.
