Magnet's a pull for beer fans

BREWER'S PRAISE FOR PUB AHEAD OF CASK ALE WEEK

A 'HIDDEN treasure' pub has been highlighted ahead of Cask Ale Week.

To mark the celebration, some of Britain's award-winning brewers and beer experts have been sharing their favourite spots for real ale.

Brewers have selected one pub they would pick to drink a pint of their own beer during Cask Ale Week 2025, which runs from September 18-28.

Cask Ale Week is an annual celebration of 'Britain's national drink' cask beer - and is an opportunity for pubs and breweries to get involved and encourage their customers to try and promote real ale by organising events and activities throughout the event.

Getting a well-deserved mention in this year's roundup of 12 great pubs to drink cask ale, a much-loved boozer in Stockport has been mentioned by a beer pro.
