FURY PREFERS A DAY AT RACES
Manchester Evening News
|August 27, 2025
TYSON Fury has revealed that he's given up watching football, favouring a day at the races instead.
The ex-heavyweight boxing champion spent Bank Holiday Monday at Cartmel, where two of his horses were running.
Fury began the day by watching Big Gypsy King finish fifth out of seven runners in the 2m1f juvenile hurdle, nearly 40 lengths behind the favourite, Dignam.
Before the race, he joined his manager Spencer Brown to discuss their growing interest in horse racing, which has recently been amplified by adding several more thoroughbreds to their stable.
