CAR GETS STUCK WITH THREE INSIDE
HERO firefighters rescued three men trapped inside a car at 4.30am in rising flood waters.
Emergency services were called to Lumns Lane in Swinton, Salford, near to the tip and recycling centre, on Sunday morning.
The area is prone to flooding and was hit again as Greater Manchester was lashed by hours of torrential rain on Saturday and overnight into Sunday, with a number of flood alerts and warnings issued.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said a specialist response unit was sent to the scene, together with three fire engines.
