Decision to be made on future of Old Trafford

MANCHESTER United 'have a decision to make this year' on the future of Old Trafford after the government backed plans to transform the area.

Last week, Chancellor Rachel Reeves backed plans to either refurbish the Theatre of Dreams into an 82,000-seat stadium or build a new 100,000 arena.

Andy Burnham also confirmed plans to redevelop the area around the stadium, whatever club chiefs decide.
