Verity gets back on beat as a tribute to her father

A DAUGHTER is bringing back a once popular walking event she used to complete with her late father in tribute to his memory.
Beating the Bounds, which will have two routes of 35km and 13km, will be held on Sunday, September 21, beginning and ending at Macclesfield Market Place.
Organiser Verity Shuttleworth, 44, used to take part as a young girl with her dad Richard Lea, who died in March this year, aged 80, following a brain tumour.
The event had since stopped so, with help from sister Sophie Hoad, she decided to organise its return and raise charity funds.
