Silkmen stars pick up top NPL awards

THE Northern Premier League held their annual end of season awards last week with a number of accolades for Macclesfield FC players from their 2024-25 record breaking season.
Danny Elliott, who scored 35 NPL Premier Division goals, was awarded The Golden Boot, in addition to being voted the NPL Supporters' Player of the Season.
Sean Etaluku was awarded the NPL Premier Division Young Player of the Season. Other players from the Macclesfield FC squad were also included in the Northern Premier League - Premier Division Team of the Season, namely Max Dearnley, Neil Kengni, Laurent Mendy, Luke Duffy, Danny Elliott, and Paul Dawson.
Meanwhile, the FA has released the round dates for Emirates FA Cup, Isuzu FA Trophy and FA Youth Cup for the 2025/26 season.
Following the Silkmen's promotion to the National League North, the rounds the club enters each competition have changed to reflect league status.
The Silkmen will enter the Emirates FA Cup in the Second Qualifying Round, which means their first game in the competition will take place on Saturday, 13th September.
