IF YOU have ever been in the Cubs or Scouts you will recall the work put in on Bob-A-Job Week.

The whole idea was for us to offer to do jobs for anyone for a shilling, which was probably a £1 in current money.
I was too young to go to private houses alone so I went as part of a team offering our services and competing with other teams to do the most jobs.
