My son called in to see me this morning.

For some odd reason we found ourselves reminiscing about the weird and wonderful things we did during his childhood.

His mum worked on Saturdays so I had plenty of time to invent some really great games.

But before we get to those I better confess to a moment of irresponsibility on my part.

My wife told me one day to take him into town and get his hair cut. Being Saturday the shop was packed with kids awaiting their turn in the chair.

"I do not want him to have his hair cut too short," she told me.
