DJ spins tunes from the toliets in 'secret' city centre venue
MEET the DJ who spends her weekends in the toilet of a ‘secret’ Manchester city centre bar - spinning tracks to revellers while they spend a penny.
Emma Charles, 40, is a resident at The Washhouse, Shudehill. She spends every Friday and Saturday night mixing tunes in the loos, entertaining clubbers.
The Washhouse has specially built bathrooms – called disco loos – which include a disco ball and DJ decks. But Emma says many partygoers are unaware of the set up - and are bemused when they enter.
