CHRISTIAN Eriksen said United should have kept a clean sheet and claimed a win after taking a late lead against Burnley yesterday afternoon.

United made a bright start against Burnley and created a handful of decent opportunities, but the finishing was poor and the visitors began to wrestle control back.

Burnley enjoyed a strong end to the first half and could have led at half-time.

Erik ten Hag made no changes at the break and Antony, who he started for a successive game, eventually provided a breakthrough in the 79th minute with a smart finish into the bottom right corner.

That goal was Antony’s first in the Premier League this season and he celebrated as if he’d scored the winner, but Andre Onana conceded a penalty just eight minutes later.
