Police act as drivers film car crash scene

POLICE had to act as two drivers decided to film the scene of a dramatic smash they were attending on their mobile phones.

Officers closed off Withington Road, near Chorlton and Whalley Range, on Friday evening following a crash involving two cars.
While work took place to investigate the collision and make the scene safe, officers were twice called into action when two drivers brazenly decided to break the law in front of them.
