Nicola launches 'protection' app after botched lip job

LIKE many young women, Nicola Wilcock had her own insecurities - her biggest being her uneven lips.

Eager to boost her confidence, she eventually decided to get lip filler and chose what she thought was a reputable clinic in the North West. Handing over £150 for the procedure, Nicola was excited to finally change something that had always bothered her.

But it wasn't until she looked in the mirror afterwards that she knew something had gone very wrong. The mum-of-three instantly noticed the filler had dropped, pulling her lip down in a way that made her feel like everyone was staring.

Nicola, from Hale, Trafford, says she immediately became obsessed with the flaw - convincing herself it was the first thing people noticed about her.
