Walking trails can be followed by phone

GREATER Manchester's newest walking trail has launched an app to help people explore walking routes right on their doorstep.

The GM Ringway offers more than 200 miles of walks around the city region, with each route being accessible via public transport.

Now GM Ringway has collaborated with the award-winning app Go Jauntly so people can easily follow one of the routes using their phone. The free app guides you on the 20 stages of the trail, using pictures and route maps.
