A cut above the rest

A mobile barber from Bolton has been shortlisted as one of the top 100 small businesses in the country. Jignesh Madhavji, owner of Jiggi mobile barbershop, was shortlisted among 99 other businesses and was celebrated during an event at the House of Lords.

Hosted by Small Business Saturday, in partnership with the campaign's founder and principal supporter American Express, the event in Westminster honoured Jiggi mobile barbershop as part of this year's SmallBiz100 on Monday, December 2.

The campaign celebrates small business success and encourages people to 'shop local' and support businesses in their communities. The SmallBiz100 is a line-up of 100 brilliant small businesses from all over the country, which were spotlighted in the lead-up to Small Business Saturday on December 7.

Jiggi Mobile Barbershop has been trading for just 18 months and has already built up an expansive clientele that spans across Greater Manchester.
