Doughty back in the lineup, but Kings stuck in cold spell

Connor Bedard scored for the third straight game and Spencer Knight made 26 saves as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Kings 2-1 on Thursday night to open a two-game set.
The Kings suffered their sixth loss in eight games on a night they welcomed back top defenseman Drew Doughty, who missed seven games because of a foot injury.
The teams will meet again Saturday night at Crypto.com Arena.
