A NEW TV drama uncovering the downfall of disgraced BBC presenter Huw Edwards is currently in the works.
Bosses at 5, formerly Channel 5, have commissioned a two-part factual series which is set to recount how one of Wales' most famous faces fell from grace in one of the biggest scandals in BBC history.
Edwards, who was raised in Llangennech, was one of the highest-paid newsreaders at the public service broadcaster, known for presenting the BBC's News at Ten for decades and delivering some of the biggest stories to the public including the death of Queen Elizabeth II, before he pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children in July 2024.
