Time to hit January sales after Isak blow

SINCE all the commotion around Alexander Isak’s £125m transfer to Liverpool, you have to say the guy has had no luck whatsoever.

After not having a preseason schedule at Newcastle, he was already playing catch up when he moved to Merseyside and that had a knock-on effect with his fitness.

The groin injury he picked up in October didn’t help and it felt like he has been slowly building his way towards 100% at a time when the team has generally been struggling to accommodate that. Sol am gutted for him now after seeing his goal at Tottenham Hotspur followed up by what looks like a serious injury.

It's a huge blow, particularly when you factor in the confidence he should have gained from scoring against Spurs.
