A MUM has opened her own “dessert haven” after previously working from her kitchen.

Lodge Lane in Toxteth is thriving with lots of independent businesses, from food vendors to clothes and even perfume shops.

Nestled in the busy shopping hot-spot is a container village, home to many startup businesses, the most recent of which is Dip Tap by Josephine Phillips.

The 33-year-old mum-of-one, who runs the brand with her partner Michael, has been trading there for almost a month.

Josephine, from Allerton, said she has been planning the shop for some time now but didn't imagine it would take off so well already.
