PAUL

Doyle told police "my life's ruined now" after officers dragged him away from his car in the seconds after he ploughed into a crowd.

In police bodycam footage, Doyle can be heard repeating the phrase as he sat in the police van following his rampage.

The footage shows Doyle also say "Oh Jesus Christ, sounds horrible" in an apparent reference to the sirens and the noise of the aftermath of his crimes outside the van.

He continued to tell officers: "It's ruined so many people's lives, that. That's just ruined and affected so many lives."
